Hours:
34.5 hours per week, utilising a 12 hour shift pattern with rotation to cover night duties.
We are a flexible organisation that is willing to consider part-time hours to fill this position (e.g. 2 days / 23 hours).
Salary:
£33,247 - 41,424
The position is graded at the equivalent agenda for change pay scale band 5, continuation of NHS Superannuation scheme is possible if criteria met.

Due to staff development and promotion within the organisation, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse who wants to make a positive contribution to the care of vulnerable individuals within our In-Patient Unit (8 beds) at ACCORD Hospice. See Job description for more details.

Job Purpose and Dimensions:

· Ensure effective running of the Unit in the absence of the Charge Nurse.

· Provides daily specialist nursing care and support for patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

· Carries out clinical nursing procedures.

· Provides clinical and managerial leadership to junior and support staff.

We are looking for a Staff Nurse who is enthusiastic and motivated towards a career in Palliative Care, excellent communication skills and a determination to support the development of our service provision.
