ACCORD Hospice receives the latest donation from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland

At the launch of its development for sale in Paisley, leading UK housebuilder, Taylor Wimpey West Scotland teamed up with ACCORD  to donate £25 for each new home sold and legally completed at its new development at Hawkhead Gardens in Paisley.

The latest tranche of £775 was donated by Taylor Wimpey West Scotland this month, taking its overall donation to date to £4,600, which is around 88% of the total grand sum of £5,250 that will be paid to ACCORD.

This latest donation recognises the ongoing relationship between Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and the ACCORD Hospice, which is located within just a few minutes’ drive from its local Hawkhead Gardens development. The money continues to contribute towards the hospice’s ongoing mission to provide palliative and end-of-life care to people living with or affected by a life-limiting illness in Renfrewshire and parts of East Renfrewshire.

Our latest donation of £775 takes our total donation to date to £4,600. It represents our ongoing relationship with this essential local charity and service that provides a link between our new community at Hawkhead Gardens and the existing community of Paisley.

Being able to work with local charities and organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us, and it’s always lovely to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in our local communities.”

Since 2019, their donations have been put to work locally to help us achieve the overall aim of our service to the local community.
