They are also responsible for assisting with the compliance of Health and Safety and the Prevention of Infection Control procedures by completing maintenance schedules and carrying out minor repairs throughout the Hospice ensuring all equipment and our environment is safe for all service users.

Their aim is to provide varied and nutritionally balanced meals for patients, staff, volunteers, relatives and visitors. They achieve this by serving traditional homemade meals and snacks, using good quality fresh ingredients. Special diets and small appetites are catered for and we always try to fulfil any requests for tasty personal favourites. In addition to providing meals for Inpatients the Team also provides catering for Hospice Events, Education Sessions and other Groups who occasionally use our Resource Centre and meeting rooms.
