Administration Services

The Administration Services and Executive Support are background but vital functions that support many aspects of clinical care and provide general assistance to all teams.

Meet the Team

Our Reception area is looked after by our part-time receptionist who is ably supported by a team of dedicated volunteers who will always guarantee a warm welcome to ACCORD.

Our Admin Teams consist of a receptionist, admin assistants, medical secretaries, clinical admin lead, IT co-ordinator and HR officer.

Aims of the Service

Our Admin team provide support and assistance to staff within all services at ACCORD and aid the smooth running of the Hospice on a daily basis. They have communication with GP’s, patients, families and volunteers. All staff are trained on information governance and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

All patient referrals received into the Hospice are initially dealt with by the Clinical Admin Team who will input details on to Crosscare – our electronic patient record system. This information is then passed to the appropriate team who will deal with the patient’s care; this is undertaken within the recognised standard of 2 working days.
