Services at ACCORD

Patient & Family Support

This service offers support to those who have been given a life limiting diagnosis and those who are impacted by this illness.

The service is staffed by two trained counsellors and bereavement support volunteers.

Aims of the Service

We offer additional emotional, psychological and practical support by offering one to one counselling sessions. The service provides the opportunity to join our bereavement groups where a safe environment can facilitate peer support and understanding.

What You Can Expect

You can expect to be treated with respect, and understanding which comes from a non-judgmental and supportive perspective. The service will support each person as an individual, listening and acknowledging your needs.
