ACCORD Hospice held its Annual General Meeting on 30th June and a good number of members attended
After the formal business when the Chairman Norman Walker commended the excellent work of the Hospice staff and volunteers. Alan Marshall, an ACCORD volunteer, for over 13 years gave a talk on his many diverse volunteering roles for ACCORD. Alan said ‘I feel I have the time available to give something back to society and am very happy to help in whatever way I can for ACCORD.’ James Wardrop, ACCORD’s Honorary President was presented, by Guy Clark, Lord Lieutenant and ACCORD’s Honorary Patron with an Order of the British Empire lapel badge to commemorate his awarding of the OBE.
