Alternative gifts from ACCORD offers a selection of presents perfect for Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings and other celebrations. Each gift purchased will directly support the work of the Hospice and will make a difference to the lives of the people that ACCORD care for every day. The friends, family or colleagues that you buy for will receive a greeting card detailing the gift you have chosen as well as information on the works of the Hospice. Supplies £5
Everything from needles to sterile dressings are needed on a daily basis in our bedded unit. Your gift will provide essential supplies for a patient's daily needs.
Patients require to come to the hospice from all over Renfrewshire and many depend on the services of the ACCORD ambulance. Your gift will help to keep our ambulance on the road for a day.
Our Day Hospice offers patients an active, therapeutic environment where staff aim to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients. Your gift will provide some of the materials needed for an arts & crafts session.

Aromatherapy, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Relaxation and Reflexology are all used to help reduce anxiety and relieve pain or sickness.

Many patients, relatives and carers required specialist support in relation to palliative care and bereavement. Your gift will provide a one to one session with one of our trained counsellors.

Hair loss can be a very debilitating and distressing side effect of cancer treatments. Your gift will provide expert advice and support to help minimise these effects and increase patient confidence and self-esteem.
Home Visit £40

There are 5 nurses at ACCORD who offer specialist advice and support to those living at home with an advanced progressive illness such as cancer. Your gift will help sponsor a home visit by one of our Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Home Boxes
Would you like one of our Home Boxes to collect your loose change in? This produces a steady income stream and has run successfully for many years. Please contact us if you would like us to send you one.

We operate an on-going recycling programme for used mobile phones. Please just hand in to one of our shops. Almost every phone we receive is worth £3 to us.

We have a small range of ideas for wedding favours at a modest suggested donation of £1.00 per favour. Quite often our supporters donate goods or services to ACCORD rather than making monetary donations. Gifts In Kind are always welcome as they save the Hospice from having to purchase. Please contact the Fundraising department for more information.
